eFaas Mobile Help desk conducts session 2 in Dhaalu Kudahuvadhoo

10 September 2026

The second Mobile Help Desk and awareness event kicked off at Dh.Kudahuvadhoo Mehemaan Saraa from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The activity was conducted in collaboration with Maldives Digital Services (MDS), Dh. Kudahuvadhoo Council, and the Dh. Kudahuvadhoo Women's Development Committee (WDC).
The mobile help desk created an accessible platform for members of the public to engage directly with digital identity service providers and obtain information about eFaas. Residents had the opportunity to gain knowledge more about digital identity services, seek clarification on common issues, and receive one-on-one assistance with eFaas registration and usage. The interactive setting encouraged community participation and enabled practical support to be provided to individuals experiencing challenges when accessing digital services.
In addition to the mobile helpdesk, local businesses were empowered by Business Center Corporation to showcase their products at stalls.
The Kudahuvadhoo workshop and mobile help desk form part of D'MADD's broader efforts to strengthen public awareness of digital identity and support the nationwide adoption of secure digital services. Through a series of awareness workshops, community outreach activities, and firsthand support initiatives, D'MADD and MDS continue to work with local councils and community organizations to ensure that citizens are equipped with the knowledge and confidence needed to safely participate in the Maldives' growing digital ecosystem.
The mobile helpdesk concluded with a lucky draw conducted by Dh. Kudahuvadhoo Women's Development Committee (WDC) for all participants.
