Project Manager Dr Ibrahim Waheed met with some NGOs in Addu City. He briefed them about a pilot project to be implemented in Addu City under the DMADD project and stressed the importance of their collaboration and involvement for success.  

Dr. Waheed met with Nalafehi Meedhoo, Project Thimaaveshi from S. Hithadhoo, and Mr. Saalim from the Addu City Divers Community. During the meetings, he highlighted the importance of unique expertise and local knowledge for effective pilot implementation and community engagement. 

Additionally, Dr. Waheed provided a comprehensive briefing on the pilot project, detailing its goals, scope, and anticipated outcomes. He stressed the crucial role of local organizations and community representatives and briefed the participants about the upcoming World Bank mission to Addu City in September.
