The DMADD project welcomes Ms Samha, the consultant, to work along with the Communications Authority (CAM) of Maldives and the Project.

She will work with international consultants to obtain information on CAM efforts to improve regulation, enforcement, and quality assurance within the next few months.

Senior officers from CAM participated in the meeting. Mr. Ilyas Ahmed, Chief Executive of CAM, provided a brief history of the CAM and its mandate.

Dr. Ibrahim Waheed expressed the consultant's expectation and emphasized the importance of having an impactful outcome instead of another paper report destined to be filed.
