Dr. K. Rama Subramaniam, the lead consultant for the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan (BCDR) consultancy, had a meeting with the NCIT senior management team and the technical team on 12th and 13th August 2025. Dr. Rama Subramanium was accompanied by Mr. Ganesh Kandasamy, principal consultant. Both consultants are from Valiant Technologies (Pvt) Ltd of India. They are in a joint venture with KBSL Information Technologies Limited, the lead company to provide services to prepare a BCDR plan for the National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT).

The team met with the senior management team of NCIT, which leads its operation from technical services to administration, and with the policy leadership team. The teams were given an unofficial overview of the current findings during the analysis process.

The consultants were also given a tour of the NCIT facilities to enhance their understanding of the physical challenges within NCIT.

During the visit, Dr. Rama presented a co-authored book on cybersecurity to the Minister of State for Homeland Security and Technology, Dr. Mohamed Kinaanath.

The team will return next month to conduct the final workshop, presenting the BCDR to NCIT personnel and concluding the assignment.
