A Stakeholder Consultation Workshop was Held to Draft a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan for NCIT.

The KBSL Information Technologies Limited (KBSL) team conducted a stakeholder consultation workshop on 8th May 2025. The D’MADD project signed a contract with the Company on 4th May to develop a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plan for the National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT).
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Krishan Perera (Associate Vice President International Business), Sahan Weerasekara (Team lead- Data Centre Solution | Post Sales), and Winu Peththawadu (Account Manager International Business). And Mr. Ganesh Kandasamy (Principal Consultant, Valiant Technologies Pvt Limited).
Forty participants from 17 Organizations attended the workshop. These include.

5.      Maldives Customs Service
6.      Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works
7.      Ministry of Finance and Planning

9.      Local Government Authority
10. Ministry of Economic Development and Trade
11. Dhiraagu
12. Ooredoo
13. National Disaster Management Authority
14. STELCO (State Electric Company Limited)
15. Hulhumalé Development Corporation
16. Maldives Immigration
17. Malé City Council
The KBSL team presented findings they compiled during their mission and obtained valuable feedback from the participants. The invited organizations comprise clients of NCIT, as well as those with technical capabilities and resources that can support NCIT in restoring operations. Overall, the workshop assisted in identifying key parties that support NCIT in such a situation.
