The D’MADD project team held discussions with N-ABLE
(PVT) LTD today to kick off the needs assessment and feasibility study
activities for the stakeholder National Centre for Information Technology
(NCIT). The contract for the study was signed on January 7, 2025. The activity
is part of Component 1, Subcomponent 1.2 of the project, which supports
improvements in government network infrastructure across the Islands.
Project Manager Dr. Ibrahim Waheed welcomed the
firm's consultants and briefed them about the project’s expectations from the
firm. He also outlined the mission plans and gave a brief introduction to the
organizations that will be involved in the preliminary stakeholder
consultations.
Dr. Waheed also stressed the importance of
working independently based on the stakeholders' requirements. He explained the
reporting protocols. Both parties discussed how to resolve scenarios where
stakeholders withhold data for security reasons.

Seuadheera (Consultant) joined from N-ABLE (PVT) LTD.
